We have reached the second day: the tournament officially started with the opening ceremony that was held at the Campana dei Caduti. There teams, organizing committee, volunteers and authorities gathered in the morning. The performance of ASD life animated and enriched this occasion, in addition national anthems of each team and motivational speeches were held by some authorities. The athletes of each nation took the oath in their mother tongue and it all ended with the
one hundred tolls of the bell that marked the start of the event.
Afterwards, each team headed to their match site where the first competitions began, continuing throughout the day.
Special guest of this edition was Christian Presciutti, water polo player of the national team, who refereed the semifinal and final of the latter discipline.
At 7 pm the awards ceremony was also held at the Palazzetto dello Sport for three of the disciplines: basketball, water polo and tambourine.
Tomorrow the soccer tournament of the various categories will continue and will end in the evening with the respective finals and the closing ceremony to conclude the whole event, with the show “Luci di Pace”.
