The International Tournament “Città della Pace” gathers every year thousands of young people in Rovereto (Trentino, Italy) to play various sports and promote peace and friendship..
The 36th edition of the International Tournament “Città della Pace” will be held on March 29th, 30th and 31st, 2024. Young athletes of three different sports will compete on the playing fields of Rovereto and the Vallagarina: football, water polo and basketball. The events that make this event unique will also be back, making it possible for athletes of different sports and different origins to meet, and to have moments of reflection on the issues that are important for the Tournament, such as peace, fair-play and respect.

Sunday, March 30
8:30 – Opening Ceremony
Bell of the Fallen, Miravalle Hill
After the greeting of the regent of the Opera Campana dei Caduti Foundation, some spectacular moments are planned. A representative of every nation reads the oath followed by the national anthem. The President declares the opening of the International Tournament “Città della Pace”. The 100 strokes of Maria Dolens conclude the ceremony.
10.30 – Parade in the city center
From Piazzale Leoni to Piazza Umberto Savoia – MART
The athletes of the participating nations parade in the city center of Rovereto, greeting the citizens. The parade ends with a short party.
