Ideas, suggestions, news and above all a desire of… tournament: this was the Brainstorming Day of Saturday the 17th of September. In San Giacomo, almost all the staff of the International Tournament Città della Pace met for the first general meeting on for the 2017 event. Until last year, the Brainstorming Day was the starting point for our work, but this time it was slightly different: everybody had already started to work months ago to prepare the 30th edition.
New ideas, but also the first occasion to know what the others had done: everything we said made us think that this is going to be an unique edition. The president Cristian Sala and the secretary-general of the tournament Alessandra Tonelli started the meeting by welcoming the two new entries Medina and Milica, and then every group talked: agonistic, logistics, events, marketing, Junior Team, communications, security…
The long reunion lasted for many hours, but everything was easier thanks to Cristian ‘Ahò’ Faraglia, security boss and great cook of the day, and thanks to the many food we ate (“It’s like a wedding”, someone said). It was a very positive day: no, we still can’t reveal anything! But be sure that the 30th edition will be fantastic and our ideas will make it unforgettable.
