A message of peace and solidarity from the volunteers of the Junior Team for the city of Rovereto and the six nations present

The 34th edition of the “Città della Pace” International Tournament has now come to an end.

On Sunday the football and tambourine ball games continued, scattered as in the previous two days in the territory of Rovereto and Vallagarina.

The U14 tambourine awards ceremony was held in Marco, with the exceptional first participation of the French team Club des Pennes Mirabeau, who finished second behind USD Segno, both followed by third place US Marco.

Afterwards, at the Quercia Stadium, the U11, U13, U15, U17 and women’s open age football finals were held, which determined a winner for each.

For the U11 category, the Albanian team AK Shkodra won, followed by the USD Mori Santo Stefano and the Anaune Val di Non. For the U13 category, the Italian Virtus Rovere triumphed, followed by the Settaurense and the USD Vipo Trento . For the U25s, on the other hand, the Germans from Vöhringen raised the cup, second place for ASD Alto Garda and third for Alta Anaunia.

The Albanian AK Shkodra also triumphed in the women’s category, followed by the local clubs of the US Isera and the German clubs of Anhausen.

Finally, for the U17 category, the last final, the Poles of Gornik Zabrze won first place, followed in second place by Virtus Rovere and finally by FC Rovereto.

Not only football, this year the great protagonists of the Peace Tournament, in addition to the tambourine ball, were basketball and water polo.

For theminibasketball, the team of Trento 1 is positioned first in the standings, followed by Apecheronza and Trento 2. For the U12 water polo discipline, on the other hand, ASD Bolzano Nuoto triumphed, followed in second place by ASD Aquaria and by ASD Libertas Virgiliana Mantova.

At the end of these three days of competitions on the fields, there was the Closing Ceremony at the Quercia Stadium for all the athletes and volunteers, which lit up the stadium with the show “Luci di Pace”, with messages on peace from the students from Rovereto, brings for a message of hope and reflection on a current theme that has always been very dear to the whole organizing committee.
